For my fine art i wanted to portray someone looking sad because after all she has done she has still recieved a failing grade, as if all the work was for nothing. This pic was supposed to show sadness, stress, and dissapoinment. Her friend is equally as sad because it is something she's going through to. This is something i can DEFINATELY connect with..

In October 2007, San Diego was ravaged by catastrophic wildfires. High Santa Ana winds whipped firestorms through entire neighborhoods, destroying nearly 1,500 homes, killing 10 people and injuring more than a hundred. Though some of the fires were human caused, all the drybrush in the area was just more fuel for the fire, and it's not like the Santa Ana winds were helping. All these dry vegetation, could easily be set off from something as simple as a cigarette not being fully put out. Everywhere you go, there is always a drybrush field filled with weeds, dying trees, and other dried up vegetation. What could be done would be to install more sprinklers around the area, it wont help with the weeds but at least it wont be dry, also people could help clear up some of the plants around the area and the city could appoint people to be in charge of it. Even just people could put out their cigarettes and throw it in the dumpster, instead of just throwing it out.
